*Featured!*

*Excited*

My sister, Robyn - of Chocolate Polkadots, and myself at Sweet and Blissful Designs, have been featured on Kori Clark Designs Blog: Paper & Pigtails! I can't believe that we've actually been featured on a super cool blog! We've always wanted to work as a team and open up our own Party Planning business complete with a bakery and photography. We can dream right? Maybe one day. :) But, for now, since she's there and I'm here, we do as much as we can do together by many phone calls being 7 hours away from each other. When she threw her husbands 40th Vintage Circus birthday celebration (if you need a recap, click here), she did MOST of the work, but...I did do the cake for her...and this is how we got featured on sweet Kori Clark's blog! Kori did an amazing job printing all the labels and tags Robyn needed for the party! :)

I can't help but smile! Thank You for sharing this moment with us!

1st Birthday

This is a cake my friend Crystal and I made for my 'niece's' first birthday! Everything was mostly pink with accents of blue, yellow, and green! The cake was vanilla with homemade marshmellow fondant! Needless to say it was definitely a hit! :)

The back side of the cake...

We also made these awesome layered frosted cupcakes!!

Doesn't this just look yummy?! :)

Vintage Circus

Did you know that Sweet and Blissful Designs also does Cake Decorating?! This past September my sister threw her husband a Vintage Circus themed party for his 40th birthday! We brainstormed and came up with this idea for the cake! I have to admit, I LOVED how it came out!

In this picture, the bottom tier was all chocolate, the middle tier was oreo (2 layers of chocolate with vanilla in between), and the top 'popcorn' tier was cherry chip! It was my first tiered cake to do and I had a blast making it! The icing is made from homemade marshmellow fondant, which was amazing!

I wasn't able to post a close up picture of the side cake...but you can see it in this picture. This cake was all white with the marshmellow fondant as well. :)

"Green Velvet Bliss"

This is our newest design that was just released tonight for our Fall Line!!! I am so excited about this new addition! I love it!!!

The rosette can be done in pretty much any color, and is accessorized with netting, velvet ribbon, and peacock strings.

Feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you think! :)
